I am terrible with giving sewing
instructions, but here it goes.
I used 24 blocks, sewn together 4 at
a time with a 1/4″ seam.
Arrange the blocks in a 6 x 4 pattern and sew
the blocks together in rows. When finished you’ll have 8 blocks down and 4 across.
Fold material in half, pattern sides together.
Sew the sides, turn right side out, slip in your pillow form and then close off your pillow in your favorite stitch.
I added the buttons to the center,
just make sure your needle is long enough
to go through the pillow.

thanks for the instructions. I have a box of saved fabric squares for when I learn to sew. I think I can do this now too.
From one non-sewer to another , I think your pillow turned out great!
You did a GREAT job (I’m not a sewer either). I think they look fabulous. Love the fabric.
To cute. I love it. I can remember as a child having pillows like this but then you got away from the patch work look……but I love this.
I love this pillow … thanks for joining the linky party
Hugs,
Bj
It looks great to me! My blog today was about how I’m not a sewing kind of girl too. I left my machine out…..maybe I should try a pillow. I love the colors!
I’ve been sewing for many years, and I think you did a fabulous job! Love the color combination.

Sarah if this is what you do not knowing how to sew, I can only imagine what you could create if you ever take the time to learn more. Fabulous job and I’ve been sewing for more than 40yrs. A pillow is the perfect type of project for a beginner, sew simple and little mistakes don’t show so you don’t get discouraged and give up. Very inspiring post!
Thanks so much for linking it at Frugal Treasures Tuesday! Hmmmm!! I’m supposed to help a friend start sewing soon. Maybe I’ll make it part of a running post to assist other beginners in taking that first step. -_^ What do you think?
I can’t sew either, lol…wish I could! However this looks so pretty, you did an amazing job
Great pillow love the patchwork
Beautiful pillow – don’t think you can call yourself a non-sewer anymore?!?
Cute patchwork pillow! Love the colors.

Wow! For being a non-sewer, like me, the pillow turned out fantastic. I wish I had the patience to learn. I’d love it if you shared at my new Tuesday party starting April 24th!
