I’m in love! My 12 year old daughter (her 12th birthday is tomorrow!) did this technique on her nails earlier this week. So I asked her to do the same on my nails – they are fabulous!
I have a thing for anything floral right now and with spring right around the corner floral is everywhere in stores, clothes, furniture, accessories – and now nails too!![]()
She started with a pink and minty green polish and painted my nails as shown above.
For the floral technique, first she used the handle tip of a tiny paint brush and dipped it into a small amount of nail polish which she added to her tray.
You just need a dab.
And then she made dots on the green nails only.
Then she added a tiny bit of red nail polish to her tray, dipped a super fine tip brush and added the red to each side of the pink dots creating a rose like flower.
And the same for the the leaves. Using the same fine tip brush dipped into a leafy green coloured nail polish, she added cute little leaves.
So simple right…I’m glad she does my nails though – it’s so relaxing, I could go to sleep!
Super thanks to my daughter!
She does post some of her nail designs on her instagram.
And I sometimes post them on mine too!

Those are super cute! I love floral and it is all the rage this year. I do have another alternative to having floral nails without all the steps and last longer then polish. Just let me know if you would like some info.
So cute! It’s so much easier to paint designs on someone else. I got this little kit to paint designs and so far I’m pretty good at polka dots.
