These are the drinks that I served at my Daughters 12th Birthday party.

Mason jars are a must for any birthday party, they help with spill control and they are just so darn cute and fashionable!

I picked up these tags at Michael’s for $1.50, there is 12 in a pack.

I un-looped the ribbon, turned them over and put a thin coat of chalkboard paint.  Just enough to do the job, since the tags are paper I wasn’t very generous with the paint because I didn’t want the tags to become wet and start to curl.

I set them in front of the wood stove and they were dry in no time.

I added the ribbon to them again and they were all set for the girls to write their names on.

Very easy, yet these chalkboard tags make a great addition to your birthday table or food display.

By the way, the fun drink inside is simply blue kool-aid and 7-Up mixed together.

  18. I love Mason Jars for party drinks! You can’t go wrong with Mason Jars. Your tags are adorable and a great way to help keep track of drinks. When my son has a few friends over our entire cupboard of glasses gets used because they have no idea which glass was theirs…this would be a great solution. Thanks Sweetie!
