Today I am going to share with you a pretty Valentine’s Banner that you can make in about 20 minutes, we all like an easy craft right?

Here’s what you will need.

3 – 12 x 12 Sheets of scrapbooking paper

Heart template {or Silhouette Machine}

A hole punch

Twine or Ribbon

Sewing Machine & Thread {or a bone folder & hot glue gun}

I used my Silhouette machine to cut out the hearts using this file. If you don’t have a Silhouette you can draw a heart onto cardstock, cut it out and use it as your template to cut the other hearts – you will need 18 hearts in total.

Here is my Silhouette screen with the heart file open. I resized to my liking and just copied and pasted so I had 6 hearts per page.

Once you have all of your hearts cut out you can stack them in 6 piles of 3, be sure to alternate the patterns.

Here is where the sewing machine comes in handy. Take each pile of 3 and sew a straight vertical line through the centre of the hearts. Now they are attached with a pretty seam. Fold the top two hearts to create that 3D look.

If you do not have a sewing machine just use a bone folder to create a score line down the middle and fold, use tiny drops of hot glue to attach the 3 hearts together.

Now hole punch the top of the hearts and string your twine or ribbon through for hanging.

Voila!

Quick, simple and exceptionally beautiful.

I choose to make my banner 6 hearts long but you can make it as long as you need or want.
