Glass Christmas Trees, an updated re-post from last Christmas

272 thumb Glass Christmas Trees, an updated re post from last Christmas

Remember my Glass Christmas Trees from last year?

See original post and full tutorial here.

I had a ton of comments & inquiries on these trees.

Most popular were these two…

Where did I buy the stack trees?

I was lucky enough to have participated in a wonder series last year sponsored by Styrofoam Brand and they sent me the stack trees. I did google them and found them listed on this website but unfortunately you cannot purchase directly from this site.

If you could find where in your area sells FloraCraft or Styrofoam Brand products you may find these stack trees.

How did I get the glass gems to stay on?

I am not sure if painting the stack trees had anything to do with it but the gems have stayed in place for the past year. I did not move my trees, I leave them displayed in my craft room all year long. I imagine if you are moving them around you may knock a gem or two off and you’ll have to re-glue.

I am still in love with these Glass Christmas Trees and they are definitely one of my most favourite creations.
