Awhile back, I picked up some wood shims from Lowe’s with plans to make some makeshift pallet artwork out of them. Thankfully, I finally found the time to create my wood shim art and wanted to share it with you! DSC 6780withlabel Guest Post: Pallet Art from Wood Shims from Just Us Four

I started by gluing 2 wood shims together so that they are identical height. Guest Post: Pallet Art from Wood Shims from Just Us Four

You can skip the step simply by putting all the thicker ends on the outside when connecting them but I like playing with wood glue icon wink Guest Post: Pallet Art from Wood Shims from Just Us Four

Once my shims were dry, I used additional ones perpendicular along the back to hold them all together. Guest Post: Pallet Art from Wood Shims from Just Us Four

Using my Silhouette, I cut out a stencil of a flower pot from some leftover craft paper I had hanging around. Then, I stencilled it along the front. I love how it works as part of our mantle display for Spring/Summer. Guest Post: Pallet Art from Wood Shims from Just Us Four

Thanks again, Sarah, for having me here today!

I hope to see you all over on my blog, Just Us Four, soon! I am always sharing new recipes {like chocolate salted caramel milkshakes} or craft ideas {like my late Spring burlap wreath} AND I host a social media link party on Thursdays along with a project/recipe link party each Friday.

I love pallet art Shannah, thanks so much for guest posting today!
