It’s

Make the Scene Monday

time again!

How is your summer coming along? It’s hard to believe we have 2 short weeks before Labour Day Long Weekend and before school starts!

I find the summers here in Newfoundland are way too short…by the time it warms up the weather changes and nights are cooler again…thanks goodness for vacations.

In saying that, we have had great weather here this summer for sure, I just wish I wasn’t working so that I could enjoy the sunny days…the weekend just are not enough.

How are the back to school preparations coming along for all you Mom’s?

My oldest is going to grade 7 this year…eeeeek…I’m a little nervous, one minute she’s all sugar and spice and the next she’s a pre-teen and independent.

Crazy….

And the not so little guy is heading to grade 3 – last year of primary….Wow….time sure does fly…

I think I have 90% of the clothes/supplies purchased…we picked up sneakers today

….so glad to have that crossed off of my list.

I cannot believe I had time this week to get a post up…

ON TO MAKE THE SCENE MONDAY

Lets get this party started!

I would love for you to follow me via FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram or RSS but it’s not a rule.  If you decide to follow me, leave a comment and I’ll follow you right back!   I just have a couple of small rules and they are that you keep it family friendly, and that you not link directly to your shop. I would love to host a giveaway if you want to promote your business!

Happy Monday everyone!

  1. Lovely summer shots Sarah! All the very best to your children when they start school again. In Jamaica schools reopen in September. It is an awfully expensive time for parents although children wear school uniforms here. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful week.

How to Encourage Your Child to Read — regardless of where your child goes to school — home, public, or private — you as the parent are the MOST important influence in encouraging him or her to read. Relax — the process of doing so is actually quite fun.
