I want to let you in on a little secret, I am a Life-n-Reflection affiliate.
Life-n-Reflection is an amazing online store created by Kristy, she carries fantastic printable digital files like tags, banners, albums and photo cards as well as textures to enhance your beautiful pictures, all created by Kristy!
I am in Love with the Orchard Baking Product Line from Life-n-Reflection.
As soon as I saw these Orchard Tags, I knew exactly what I wanted to do with them.
First I resized them in Photoshop to fit my 1 3/8 inch hole punch. They are originally 2.5 inch so if you already have a 2.5 inch hole punch you are all set!
I printed mine at my local photo store but they are ready for you to print at home using your home printer…I just didn’t have any ink for my printer so I whipped them off to my favourite photo shop.
Then I punched out these great scallop circles in wonderful coordinating green cardstock and attached them to the orchard tags using double sided tape.
Use a mini hole punch and punch near the top of the apple stem.
I used the ring from a set of old wine glass charms that I no longer used but you could
easily use wire too!
And for that finishing touch I added a pretty ribbon.
Since I had beautiful glass charms to decorate my yummy glass of apple cider I figured I needed a little snack to go with it.
So I made the perfect fall treat…
Spiced Apple Cider Muffins
Here they are topped with delicious streusel ready to go in the oven.
Don’t you just love my little “Apple Cider Muffin” sign.
These are actually Treat Bag Toppers, also from Life-n-Reflection that I used as mini signs instead!
So PERFECT for a party, right? Oh, they would make super place cards too!
And that Cupcake Wrapper is too cute…I am absolutely in love with this whole line of orchard goodness!
Here’s the recipe for the Spiced Apple Cider Muffins

INGREDIENTS
STREUSEL
-
2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
-
4 teaspoons flour
-
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-
1 tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
-
2 tablespoons rolled oats
MUFFINS
-
2 cups all-purpose flour
-
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
-
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
-
1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
-
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
-
1 large egg
-
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
-
1/2 cup apple sauce
-
1/3 cup maple syrup
-
1/3 cup apple cider
-
1/3 cup low-fat plain yogurt
-
1/4 cup canola oil
PREPARATION
-
Preheat oven to 400°F. Coat 12 muffin cups with cooking spray.
-
To prepare streusel: Mix brown sugar, flour, rolled oats and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
-
To prepare muffins: Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in a large bowl.
-
Whisk egg and brown sugar in a medium bowl until smooth. Whisk in apple sauce, syrup, cider, yogurt and oil. Make a well in the dry ingredients; add the wet ingredients and stir with a rubber spatula until just combined. Scoop the batter into the prepared muffin cups (they’ll be quite full). Sprinkle with the streusel.
-
Bake the muffins until the tops are golden brown and spring back when touched lightly, 15 to 25 minutes. Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes. Loosen edges and turn muffins out onto a wire rack to cool slightly before serving.Kristy has shared a yummy Candy Apple recipe with printable recipe card on her blog, you can find it here.I have been known to link to these fantastic parties:
