Today I am sharing a quick and easy tutorial for these
Sharpie Stencilled Hot Cocoa Mugs
Cooler days, even colder nights means hot cocoa in my mug…and my kids too.
For less than $3 you can make two of these cute mugs in no time flat.
Supplies needed:
2 mugs from the Dollar Store
a scrap piece of vinyl
sharpie markers {black & orange}
I cut my stencil using my Silhouette. And I cut my vinyl in half so that I could position it around the curved mugs easier.
I did go over with the sharpie several times so that it was nice and dark.
The orange nose on the snowman I drew in free hand as well as the dots for the eyes and mouth.
Bake in the oven for 30 minutes!
And here they are!
Doesn’t this look divine, so cozy and comfy. All you need are a pair of flannel or fleece pj’s, fuzzy slippers & a good book!
I mixed up some plain ‘ole hot chocolate , added whip cream, shaved chocolate & a candy cane.
The candy cane add such wonderful peppermint flavour to the hot chocolate!
Be sure to hand wash your mugs as the writing is not dish washer safe.
I gently wash mine out with soapy water quickly, I don’t leave it to soak or anything in the water.
Mmmm…Cocoa
….Yes Please!
Happy Holidays!

So wonderful mugs! i wish I has a Silhouette! Looks so tasty :0)

These are so cute! I’ve done a similar project before and the sharpie pen marks came right off. I was using the skinny ones so I’m hoping if I use this method it will stay on! Thanks for sharing!
