Trim the Tree Party!
Hi Clean and Scentsible readers!
I’m Sarah from Alderberry Hill.
I am so pumped about guest posting here today for the Trim the Tree Party, big ~HUGS~ to Jen for having me!
Today I am sharing a quick and easy but stunning ornament to trim your tree with!
You will need:
Clear glass or shatterproof ornament
Epsom Salts
Scrapbooking Paper
Mod Podge
Ribbon
Pretty Paper Fastener (optional)
Stickles
In case you don’t know what Stickles are, here’s a pic above!
I cut out my trees using this silhouette file but you could easily cut three triangles with tree trunks and it would work perfectly and look fantastic too!
I glued my trees to the ornament with Mod Podge, then filled the ornament with Epson salts up to the base of the trees.
Add a beautiful holiday ribbon.
I said it was quick and easy!
I didn’t tie my ribbon, I used a pretty paper fastener instead, you know those ones with the two prongs on the back.
Here is where I used the stickles, simply put little dots all around the outside of the ornament to resemble snow and let it dry overnight.
Voila, all done!
Thanks again Jenn for having me, I had a blast!
Be sure to pop over to Alderberry Hill for my link party, Make the Scene Monday!
Stop by to view some of my other Christmas Projects too!

Simple, elegant, and beautiful! I love these!
Thanks for sharing this beautiful idea on Eco Kids. They remind me of the ornaments that we passed out as favors at our wedding. Instead of Modge Podge though, we painted different Christmas/wedding things on each one. We put extra fine glitter in each one and rolled them around to coat the sides of the ornament. We could have used more glitter and created snow like you did. Thanks for the new idea! I pinned it on my Christmas Board: http://pinterest.com/pin/48554502204346819/
