Are you lacking in St. Patrick’s Day decor?
I don’t have a lot of St. Paddy’s decor. I wanted to make something that say’s “St. Patrick’s Day” but still fit into my everyday decor.
This yarn wrapped shamrock wreath was the perfect fit!
I grabbed a foam pipe insulator.
You can pick these up at your hardware store.
I bent it into a circle and taped it together.
I secured a piece of yarn to the foam insulator with tape and began to wrap
and wrap and wrap and wrap.
Yes, there’s a lot of wrapping, but not to worry it really doesn’t take that long.
I snipped my yarn and secured with a dab of hot glue.
Then I made these shamrocks with green, gray and white felt.
Click here for a tutorial on how to make them, why reinvent the wheel, right?
I picked these stylish green buttons out of my stash and attached them to the center of the shamrocks with a little dab of hot glue.
The result…a simple St. paddy’s Day wreath for almost next to nothing.
You can’t be that, cheap and easy.
I love projects that are budget friendly!
It snowed today!
Here are a couple of photos I took while I was home on my lunch break.
This is my yard.
Thanks so much for visiting, makes my day!
